Cherine Fahd, The Kiss, 2000
Stage Unstage surveys a decade of work by Cherine Fahd. The Sydney based artist first exploded on Australia's photomedia scene in the late 1990s with powerful and surreal images that linger long in the imagination. Stage Unstage connects the surrealism of Fahd's early photographs with more recent works that challenge documentary conventions by creating strange and subtle twists on scenes from everyday life.
